Katie + Chad | Daydream Wedding

Katie and Chad’s wedding was a hell of a way to start the wedding season! From the venue down to the decor their wedding was B. E. A – utiful! I’ve never been to Daydream Venue in Ridgeley but when I pulled up to the quaint little barn I was so excited to be there. I’ve been waiting for Katie and Chad’s wedding all year.

Katie is the absolute sweetest thing not to mention we bonded over Queen City Creamery ice cream and going to school with family members. I used to go to bedford Elementary and Middle School so – that was pretty dang cool to learn!

I walked in the venue was beautifully adorned with greenery, succulents, and sheer white fabrics that fairy lights twinkled through beautfully. I could already tell this day was going to be amazing!

Katies details were absolutely stunning I’m a sucker for greenery and succulents; her bouqet was absolutely stunning. She had so many details all the way down to a small necklace hidden in her bouqet which was her grandmothers necklace. Embedded in the monogrammed heart was a tiny greem gemstone.

Katie and Chad got ready in separate rooms of course but it was fun dodging Chad to get some fun shots of Katie. We had bridesmaids running from room to room to pin boutineers on their significant other, dad running to the girls room to get pinned by their significant other, and transferring things from room to room. Needless today upstairs was bustling! And Chad didn’t catch a single glimpse of his bride.

As their guests arrived Katie and her bridesmaids took the time to say a quick prayer before the ceremony. As they prayed their guests laughed and talked waiting patiently for the nuptuals to begin. This is my favorite time because I can just settle down and work. Capturing those important moments. Mom watching from afar, parents holding hands, and ring bearers just chillin’. This little guy was completely relaxed during the ceremony it was too funny not to take a photo of!

After the ceremony we had so much fun shooting the formal photos. If you saw the orginial images you would see these images were very crooked. Why you may ask? I was DYING laughing watching the groomsmen and bridesmaids pick up the bride and groom! Such a hilarious moment!

Before arriving at the venue I noticed this crazy over grown feild and when i passed by it seeing the tall blades of grass blow in the wind instantly I knew I HAD TO SHOOT THERE! It was so  worth popping over for a second afterwards we hit the swing right in the front of Daydream where a big old doggo said “Henlo” to us. When a dog interrups your wedding photos you pet him.

Katie and Chad danced the night away with family and friends and I feel so honored that I was able to capture the day! Thank you both so much from the bottom of my hear for the most amazing kick off to the wedding season! Thank you for choosing me and letting me be a part of your biggest, most special day – and thank you for being a part of my family!

Stay Inspired + Keep On Dreaming.
